We’re hiring Technical Artist (Unity)

Technical Artist

We are looking for a Technical Artist to work with game development and art teams, focused primarily on the character art, clothing and accessories production pipeline.

The role is full time permanent based in the magical city of Galway (working from home currently and negotiable) and salary will be negotiated on second interview.

 

What you will be doing:

Using modelling and texturing software to optimise existing models for character clothing and accessories.
Contribute extensively to the 3D art workflow
Attend daily stand-ups – make sure your tasks are delivered on time
Work closely with feature owners to provide feedback on features and progress
Work closely with QA team to resolve bugs and deliver high quality and efficient models and textures for testing

 

You will need:

1 – 3 years experience in Unity Game Engine
Skilled in using Blender and/or Maya
Substance Painter experience a bonus
Ability to work as part of a technical and artistic team
