Node.js Developer Job Description

We’re looking for a Node.js Developer to join the 9th Impact team. 1 to 3 years experience is expected.

The role is full time permanent based in the magical city of Galway (working from home currently and negotiable) and salary will be negotiated on second interview.

The candidate will have a passion developing complex asyncronous Node.js applications which persist data efficiently and run in scalable cloud services. You will have strong maths background, an eye for detail, code in JavaScript, CoffeeScript and have experience in writing unit tests as you develop functions.

Day to day tasks will include:
Designing & developing efficient backend functionality in stateless REST and  statefull persistent game servers.
Deploying functionality to a staging environment and validating functions from client apps
Writing documentation for client app developers
Writing thin APIs to interact with your backend functionality

… and loads more, so the person needs to be used to high performing environments with lots of personal responsibility given and hard work and high output expected.
