Hi, I’m Steph, and I have a WoW Classic character with over forty days played. I mention that upfront so you know exactly what you’re dealing with. I studied mathematics, which is genuinely useful for stat weights and build optimisation and almost entirely useless for everything else in life. I grew up in a house where nobody else played games, so everything I learned came from doing it wrong first and then figuring out why. That’s probably why bad guides bother me as much as they do. The information I needed when I was learning was always buried somewhere terrible. Six different forums, a Reddit thread from 2017, a YouTube video with 180 views and no chapters. I cover everything from MMO levelling and class builds to the game-specific mechanics that never get a proper write-up anywhere. The niche stuff is usually where it gets most interesting, and I’ve almost certainly already spent too long on whatever you’re searching for right now.
